Combat is pretty much the same, but movement is especially terrible, fine motor control of geralt is impossible.
If I want to walk to a spot, I will always overshoot it and end up facing the wrong way as well.
And going up hills while sprinting? You just kinda start-stop-start-stop it's fucking irritating.
I have a lot more little gripes like this, the kind of stuff that seem small but for an open world game really add up and annoy the fuck out of me.

Horse riding is kind of clunky and I get what you mean with movement in combat can be irritating at times but in reality those are all pretty minor things with a game that does Most things very very well.
