Do you prefer to play FPS in enclosed corridors or open environments?

Closed Environments depending on the game.
>Clearing corners and working your way through a building
vs
>Getting shot across the map by a random guy with a sniper rifle sat in a bush.

Mix of both. Tribes Ascend pretty much perfected the "open" shooter while RO2 did a great job with its more atmospheric and claustrophobic gameplay
Corridors. This way you can make FPS gameplay cinematic and create the illusion of complexity like F.E.A.R. did.

Large open environment overworld with lots of rocks/cars/houses/trashcans scattered about for cover and tons of closed corridor areas accessible from the overworld.
>inb4 someone spews some ignorant bullshit about "pit bulls"
I don't really FPS, but honestly close corridors are better in my opinion.
Serious Sam shits all over your favorite FPS.
Atmospheric FPS like Metro are great though
