The whole DOOM soundtrack?
Ken's theme in SF2 was ripped off that Cheap Trick song on the Top Gun soundtrack.
Guilty Gear's soundtracks are pretty notable for stealing riffs and licks from various 80s cock rock and shred metal bands, but of course everyone already knew that.

Most blatant and best rip off really.
I don't have any of the songs immediately on the top of my head but I know that one dbz guy stole a lot of shit, and he did the tracks for at least a few of the games. I know he did budokai 3 since they yanked all the music and replaced it in the HD version.

The countries biggest entertainment field anime is just repackaging the same story over and over again why wouldn't other aspects of their culture be the same.

Tonic to Dominant to submediant to Subdominant is as plebian as you can get, stay faggotry as fags can be, normies.

heh.

You do realize that Gustav Holst and John Williams themselves ripped off of Richard Wagner, right?
WOW I CANT INSPIRE MY SONGS ON OTHER SONGS
WOOOOOOOOW I HAVE TO LISTEN TO EVERY AUTISTIC VIDEOMEME SONG OUT THERE TO TRY NOT TO COPY IT
>>320718956
It's actually based on a riff from No Remorse. It happens at about 1:32.
(This one I'm sure of; it's also been verified in interviews and whatnot)
It's impossible for me to find but the song Bynn the Breaker in Bastion is almost exactly in some Korean movie about a bullied kid getting his revenge

This?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MT9-dnph8MM
curious how the movie came out years before Bastion
the guy who did music for blast corps literally plagiarized the song for the level tempest city. it's straight-up ripped from front line assembly's song "circuitry." dude's lucky he apparently never got called out on it in any way that hurt his career

This is what happens when composing is done as a job with a deadline rather than a hobby or, you know, for "artistic reasons"
>>320726808
Yeah, that's called sampling, and it occurs on almost every rap album ever.
>>320731301
Most of these in this thread are bullshit, but this is clearly a ripoff.

>rnb song rips off zelda
oh wow that's hilarious
>>320741836
Funny thing about that, actually
It's apparently a very common riff
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4e0VvHZMaTs
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ld3PWrd8sbE
And some others. Melissa is still a classic though.
>>320748452
And so's Powerslave for that matter.
>>320718549
>opening riff is the same 3 notes as zelda's lullaby repeated
BLATANT
FUCKING
RIPOFF
>>320724212
what is this sample called and/or where does it originate from
>>320721137
ha! As a long time fan of the Offspring, I just listened to only the Sonic Adventure 2 track and I heard it immediately. That's awesome.
>>320748452
I don't think any of the songs posted ripped on another off. It's just a typical metal riff that's easy to come up with.
>>320718549
There's homages and then there's ripoffs. Because samples are reused so often, it's hard to tell which is which.
However, ripoffs are still far more common than homages due to copyright having no jurisdiction outside its own country.
Reminder that California shot first when it came to copyright infringement, but now they control it. They'll take it to their watery grave because it's the only reason West Coast is relevant.
It's also the reason Disney wanted to extend the copyright term, because Hollywood is full of Jews, and Disney hates Jews.
JoJofags are the worst offenders as far as /v/ is concerned.
>>320748992
That's why I said it's a very common riff. So common Black Sabbath did it first (and maybe some blues artists did it even earlier)

Nintendo pretty much ripped off this entire album.

To sum up this thread:
>game's music has two or three similar opening notes to something else
>even though the rest of the song is original the beginning just has to be ripped off right?
>>320749678
That whole album got ripped off so much in general.
>>320737810
Funny enough Tim Follin's last game soundtrack was the Gamecube Starsky and Hutch game.
>>320739417
Cboyardee's song was a cover. Not really a ripoff.

Not actually a ripoff. Janet Jacksons album actually credits Square Enix for this one. Still cool though. One of my favorite games of all time.
