There is no single player. There's co-op. The multiplayer community is full of tryhard sperglords who will berate you for being new and not fully understanding the mechanics of the game. It happens on lots of other maps too. Revolt for example has people constantly sneaking round inbetween waves and putting C4 next to the spawn room, or just setting up an MG next to the spawn.
After nearly 200 hours of this game I went to Red Orchestra 2 and it's amazing how this just never happens despite the reinforcement system being quite similar.
It's just garbage level design which has 'RESTRICTED AREA' constantly on small maps yet somehow cant prevent gross levels of spawn camping

I've met all kinds of horrible people in every iteration of CS. At least you can tolerate them in Call of Duty, being that it's a casual shooter where teamplay doesn't matter. Every single time I play a game like CS or Insurgency there's always that one fucking asshat on your team who constantly complains, berates his team, and sometimes even teamkills. That just doesn't happen in CoD. There's no friendly fire and you can just mute any retards you don't want to hear because teamplay simply doesn't matter. You can argue that this still happens in hardcore mode, but if you're going to play hardcore mode in a Call of Duty game you might as well just play CS. It's the same thing with all of these MOBA games you see lately too. There's always some asshat who you just have to put up with for at least the rest of the match. It's the nature of these games. There's always going to be an asshole, but it's just that much more frustrating in these games.
What is the point of buying Insurgency? It's almost 1:1 CS:GO and why would anyone want to play the less popular of the two?
