It's something different. On a conceptual level, it's a great idea.
An open world first person survival game set in the prehistoric age.
Gameplay wise, it looks okay. Not sure how long it'll last before it comes stale.

It looks boring. Being able to lure the dragons to the enemy was fun but having a pet lion who literally plays the game for you and watching it fight isn't really fun.
This basically looks like prehistoric Pokemon except somehow less exciting. I really don't want to tame animals and move the cursor over to some strong caveman i couldn't beat on my own to have an a.i. battle against him and a sabretooth play out.
That shit gets old.
