The neptunia series is honestly one of the shittiest, most banal things I've ever seen in my life.
There's nothing wrong with liking a moeblob but it needs some fucking sustenance beyond that, and these games do not fucking have it. Even Senran Kagura at least has an okayish beat em up/musou attached to the boobs.

What's sad is how shit the original first game was gameplay wise, but had a lot more character to it. There was a lot more NPC dialog and throwbacks to lots of gaming culture and history. Re;Birth tore that apart and just made it a streamlined RPG.
