/v/ I think I'm just tired of video games in general. I mean its always you're a special snow flake go kill this bad guy boom you win you're a hero. Felt like I've "seen it all". Can you introduce me to very obscure games that aren't the typical "GO HERE GO THERE YOU WIN!" RPG's don't count, actually they seem shittier than ever and autistic as fuck. No turn based shit. No shooter trying to disguise itself as something unique by introducing a third person view. No fallen heroes. No anything like that.
Maybe I'm just done with video games man. I feel sick of them.
The Beginner's Guide
Maybe you need to take a rest man. Do something else for a couple of weeks/month. Hey, maybe get a job that fills that free time you used to play videogames. Change your routine for a while, it worked for me.

Ghost trick was generic "Someone killed me and I have to find out who!" wish I could have reskinned him to look like Moonman but it was pretty close., didn't enjoy it. I have to find my DS think its around here somewhere...

Time to go read novels or watch movies. Much more variety in those. Most games are trash, that's the reason /v/ seems to spend most of its time talking about the same 5 or 6 games.

It might be interesting to see a game from the perspective of a character that is the foil of a hero. Meh, then again, movies and novels seem more promising.
The games that have gotten me out of similar ruts in recent years are:

Nothing all that niche by /v/ standards, but they're off the beaten path enough that you might find fresh air in one.
