Fighting waves in a Danger Room with some old Squadmates like Grunt and Wrex and fighting your own clone using your face and moveset was pretty cool.
The Party and the sort of hub world and the big fancy apartment is ok.

Dragon Age II sort of killed the series, desu. They lost a lot of fans from the game being garbage.
1. It looks like shit, graphically
2. Actshun button awesome gameplay
3. Short compared to DA:O. Origins is easily 70+ hours long. Full completion of DAII is 30
4. COpy pasted shit everywhere
5. Awful encounter design. Enemies will attack, then another wave will appear. Sometimes there is a third wave. It's HORRIBLE. Most of the time they're just worthless mooks and have no real danger, which just makes the encounters extremely tedious. I know you fought lots of enemies in origins but in origins you fought them all at once, you didnt have darkspawn literally appearing from nowhere in three waves. Imagine playing DnD "Wow 10 goblins, good thing we wiped them with no effort" "TEN MORE GOBLINS AND A HOBGOBLIN RUN IN IN A DISORAGANIZED CLUMP" "wow that was easy too" "WELL YOU FAGGOTS ARENT EXPECTING ME TO LET YOU GET AWAY SO EASILY, ARE YOU? TEN MORE GOBLINS RUSH IN! HA HA HA HA!"
6. The story is garbage in terms of resoultion. You cannot affect the third act's outcome at all, no matter what you do you fight the same bosses and the same events happen. The game is about whether mages or templars are bigger assholes and you run into like 5 blood mages in your first year in Kirkwall, there are mages mindraping templars and the templars are generally pretty good guys that aren't acting in the wrong at all. There's random as fuck moments like a frankenstein quest. The Qunari are excellent, the companion's stories are alright...
7. I cannot stress how ugly this game looks at fucking times, and I cannot stress how boring the encounters can get. Play it on the easiest difficulty and pay especial attention to the qunari

I played a lot of DA:I, didn't get any of the Expansion Packs but I got fucking salty with the Dragon Fights on Nightmare and their bullshit animation so I went with Arcane Warrior or whatever the knock-off version of itis in DA:I and cheesed the living fuck out of them because of how badly designed the dragons and dragon combat was.

The Dragon fights were so fucking buggy. Also DA:I is basically a Single-Player MMO, people will fight me on this but that's what it literally is. All the side-quest and even some of the main objectives had MMO-Tier quest.
