I never argued that, there are plenty of good stories and bad stories in all mediums. I do believe however that there are overall less good stories in games because the story is secondary to gameplay and you can still have a great game with a nonexistent story. In film its almost impossible to makeup for a bad story though because theres not much other reason to watch, and its impossible to find another reason to read a book beyond story.
