I STILL haven't finished Tales of the Abyss and it took me 2 years to finish P3FES.
Trying to play Dark Souls 2, I don't know how I put up with shit when I was a neet

If I was still a neet, I would have tried for 5+ hours
I can't even stand to grind for levels for more than two hours, I used to grind for days on end in MMOs
The last game I played without taking a break 30 minutes was MGSV, and that was a huge disappointment

The only reason I stopped playing games for that long (actually it was four months) was so I could focus on studying Japanese. I still love games and have yet to hit a dry period since then, and that was a year ago.

I'm sort of in the same boat. I'm finding it's very hard to keep my interest in a game. Maybe I've grown to dislike how long a lot of games are and it discourages me from playing them. It's probably the reason why the last few games I've managed to complete were all relatively short indie games.

No matter how interested in a game I am, I always seem to get tired of it so quickly and never pick it up again. Something changed I guess, I can't feel that magical feeling of fun I had when I was a kid.
Now I'm just depressed because gaming was all I had that made me happy, and now that is gone and not even fapping brings me any joy. I just want to be happy again.

Every few days I'll open up an old game I used to play in an emulator and play it for a day or two and stop.

Just booted up Turok: PC port. It's the best PC port of a console game I've ever played.
Massive FOV, smooth as butter, 144hz support, the game isn't fucked with in its basics, just improved for PC.
Can't wait until Turok 2 gets ported.
Also I'm currently playing Xenoblade Chronicles X. I was playing Fallout 4 but when I completed the main story I lost all motivation to play it, which is pretty standard for Bethesda games post Oblivion.
