As someone who plays a lot of fighting games, Smash pisses me off ENTIRELY because Smash players think that calling smash a fighting game means it has mechanics similar to actual fighting games like Street Fighter or KoF.
What I mean is that you can take a guy who's spent his entire life playing SF4, and then hand him a copy of Guilty Gear, and he'll already have an idea of what he's doing.
He won't know how to play every character without any experience, but he'll know how to control the game.
