He didn't really have any motives for doing the things he did in the beginning of the game did he? It's like they thought up of the events that happen in Ep1 and 2 and then they brought in this bogeyman and just say "he did it" without explaining why or how. Like if he is the crime lord of fairy town why would he suddenly do something to bring attention to himself when he's been operating under BB for a long time now?
If I'm missing something please inform me, but I acknowledge that I haven't played the game since it was released so I might've just forgotten most of it.
