The manufactured controversy around "increasing censorship" with Dead or Alive X 3, despite the fact video game changes in localization have always been a thing, but some (presumably younger) /v/irgins are being told to get angrier about it now, possibly to fuel /pol/ related lulz.

Honestly a lot of MGSV's problems seem to be from it being rushed before its release date/Kojima's contract ending. I'm going to wait to see how he does without Konami before making a final judgement.

I agree but I think it's impossible to accurately lay blame on why MGSV ended up the way it is. The only reasonable explanation is that Konami and Kojima were to blame, in my opinion.
I'm not a fan of ballooning development costs. I think being smart about development, not foolhardy, is a better way to go.
MGS2 and MGS3 were better in this regard (and in many other regards that I won't get into for fear of breaking this thread into a tangent).
