haha that's how the game usually went. Always thought it was a pretty tense game since the dinos could kill you so quickly. And unless you were lucky enough to find an ammo cache, you usually had to use spears or bones.

I remember being about 11 or 12 when it first came out and all I remember was that part and getting pissed at it.
Now, I could probably fly right through it.

FEAR is amazing but holy shit the tech is wasted on a soulless environment and a shitty story/lore.

Half-Life, because as well as being a great game in its own right it gave rise to the golden age of modding.
Half-Life 2 was too jarring for me for enjoy as a continuation of HL, but as the beginning of a new series it was promising. Not bothered about HL3.

I would say half life 2 but the final third of the game just dragged on so much it ruined it for me, every chapter until Nova Prospekt was amazing even to this day, but after that level I don't know what happened but I couldn't even finish the game.

Why do you want another sequel in a series which was made increasingly worse with every installment after the first? F.E.A.R. was a fun game, but its story was never that great, and the sequels turned the franchise to garbage. If you want to experience something as good as F.E.A.R., any future game with F.E.A.R. in the title is a bad place to look.
