The SAO games aren't good, they're boring as shit.
Even if you're a hardcore fan of the series, the gameplay is stale and so is the story.
I wouldn't recommend anyone paying more than $5 for one. Lost Song goes for $40?

The SAO games, at least Hallow Fragment, are pretty nice games. They're hack-n-slash action RPGs, kinda feel like an odd mix between PSO, .hack, and Xenoblades.
I'd assume Lost Song, from screens and videos, is similar and more of the same, but set in another game universe.The anime was horrible, but I sorta liked the first half of each season, the whole Alfheim shit was bad, especially at the end of season 2.

It's really a hit-or-miss game.
I, for one, didn't enjoy it that much but I suppose it was worth the $5 I spent on it.
Final boss was a bitch to finish though because I rarely ever upgrade my shit.
Would've been nice if we got God Eater instead for our animu-action game needs.

The basic gampelay doesn't change up a whole lot, though there is a good variety of weaponry. The missions also get better as the game goes along, though unfortunately the small enemy roster leads to some repetitiveness.
I enjoyed the game, but if you don't care for the basic gameplay mechanics thus far I doubt your opinion will change a whole lot.
