This is Blizzard, a company which only makes 2-3 uniquely animated skeletal meshes every expansion, and then slaps new models on top of them for the next 6 years.
This is a game where NO event is EVER given a unique animation for it. Felguard charging? Literally just swims in the air. Your character hanging balancing on a pole? Literally just you falling animation. Character trying to push something? Literally just your pointing animation.
This is one thing where every other MMO stands out from WoW a lot, you never see this level of animation reuse and jury rigging anywhere else.

I don't even do garrisons anymore. I simply kill Kazzak every week for a simple 2k from felblight per character.
Since I have 10 characters, that's 20k per week and 80k per month, enough for even EU-realms and investing the rest into mounts to flip.

First of all, Kazzaks Felblight drop is a huge range, 7-15. You're not making a consistent amount of money off it.
Secondly,. how dead is your server? 2k off Felblight? They sell for 72g on my server, you'll get like 1k if you get a full 15 drop.

It doesn't work like that anymore and hasn't for a long time. The treasure missions are account wide lockout periods. If 1 character gets it, the other can't for the month.

Run all the Cata raids solo every week. Between 130g per boss and all the loot vendoring for full price, you'll get a good chunk of your token money every month off a few hours of runs.
Add to that some garrison mission money and selling the occasional Medallion or Champion's Honour and you'll be making the money easily.

The difference is my Timbermaw Hold rep didn't stand between me and being able to use a flying mount.
Even Vanilla did better than this. Zandalar rep from raiding and turning in items. Cenarion rep from raiding and turning in items--could be buffed via a world PvP objective
Hell, the more I think about it, pretty much every Vanilla rep that was important could be gotten via raiding/running dungeons and turning in items.
This is decidedly worse than vanilla.

And don't forget that the rep grinds in vanilla gave you really good items. They were an alternative way to get geared if you weren't in a top raiding guild and were basically the entry raider or solo player way to progress.
