I personally prefer New Vegas.
This is going to be unpopular, but dota 2 is really well done. I dont play it but the feel of an old w3 adventure/battle level is still there. It has a greater objective, minibosses, warfare, hero combat and cool and uniform visual design. Only thing it lacks is a proper campaign/story/rpg mode.
