ice climbers honestly should've been the surprise for wii u owners. parallel development of smash wii u and 3ds was a huge fucking mistake and i'll never get over the fact that we'll never have a smash bros with a reasonable development cycle.
Man, Smash 4 is still a great game, but I can't help but feel it's the most disappointing entry in the series. The biggest mistake was making the totally unnecessary 3DS version which gimped the Wii U version. If they really needed to make the 3DS version it should've been a completely different game. I know I would've bought both versions if they were actually different. It just feels like Nintendo went full greedy with it and it ruins the game a bit.
