I bought like 20 games in physical release this year. Way too much to list though the most memorable was Ar Nosurge plus, Bloodborne is the best game in the series, Moero chronicles was the craziest shit I played. Worst I got my hands on this year is Monster Hunter 4 and Persona 4 DAN sucks balls compared to Project Diva.
Also Yuru Yuri S3 and Valkyrie Drive Mermaid and Himouto were pretty good.

MGS5 TPP (PC) - 8/10 didn't complete it because my PC literally blew up mid-game and never went back to finish it
Super Mario Maker (Wii U) - 5/10 too many automario levels for my taste. Nothing to really do besides 100 mario challenges over and over to unlock all the costumes which became pretty tedious.
Art Academy Atelier (Wii U) - 9/10 Bought on a whim. The tutorials were amazing and got me to draw some really nice things that I otherwise wouldn't dare trying. Really gets you out of your comfort zone.
Bloodborne (PS4) - 9/10 Really solid FromSoft game. As a souls fan I have no complaints.
GG Xrd (PC) - 8/10 Good tutorials and a nice cast to play around with.

I bought it as my first MH game because friends were getting it, but they lost interest faster than I expected them to so we actually didn't end up playing that much together. I got plenty of fun and playtime out of it, though.

Not that bad. Definitely not the literal shit /v/ makes it out to be. Pretty great gunplay. Decent overall story. Disappointing dialogue (on the part of the player character) and choices overall. The weapon and armor modding system is really fun. Settlement building is great fun. Factions and the overall writing of the Commonwealth is pretty good I think (at least better than Fallout 3 in this aspect). Not as great as New Vegas, but I wasn't really expecting something as great as New Vegas. As Fallout 3-2 I think it does its job just fine.
I think that's all the games released this year that I've played this year. Pretty good. Plenty of other games released this year that I'm interested in, too.
Better than last year, at least. 2014 felt like it had a ton of "OK" or "maybe the sequel will be better" games. Nothing that really, really stood out (at least to me) besides maybe Smash 4 I guess.

Arkham Knight PS4 Bundle - 5/10 game score, bought it because it was a good deal for the console. The game itself is presented nicely but it masks the lack of clever bosses and grind.
Metal Gear Solid V - 9/10 at startup, 4/10 when I was done, 2/10 after the extortion patches. What a disappointment.
Witcher III - 9/10 only wish it wasn't as repetitive.
Fallout 4 - 7/10 I only wanted another Bethesda open world to run around in, and I got that. But I liked even Skyrim more than this.
Uncharted Collection - 7/10 I wish I could enjoy the series as much as the fanatics. I only see a solid game only worth one playthrough for a cheap price.

I think these are all of my game purchases this year. I also got The Order 1886 for free, when i bought a PS4 for Bloodborne because of some easter event, but i haven't played more than 1 hour or so. My original plan was to play through it immediately so i could resell it at a reasonable price, because it was still relatively new back then.
