Instead of any sort of adventure mode (or even Smash Run), we get the piece of ass that is Smash Tour. Also, Target Smash was replaced with Angry Birds. Say what you want about Target Smash, but I would have had more fun with that than Angry Birds.

I don't really see what's retarded about classic. I don't necessarily love that it incentivizes big battles but it's alright.
It also has a trophy rush which wasn't there previously.
It also has more characters which is the biggest bulk of "content" in any smash game by and large.
So the comparison to Battlefront is really moot. Battlefront barely has any single player content at all, Smash 4 at least brings back recurring features.
Like it's not even a question, Battlefront is fucking starved for content with a $50 season pass. Smash 4 is a big ass game.
