Post best classes. I've played Full Metal Jaguar for about 20 hours and recently switched to Galactic Knight.
And holy shit, GK blows FMJ right outta the water.
I did the exact same thing, except i use laser sword and dual guns

Yeah when you get to rank 10 you "master" the weapons and can mix and match arts accordingly. Blew my mind.

Although the arts are still restricted by the weapon. Longsword arts can't be used with Dual Swords.

Wait, I'm confused...I just started playing and I noticed that classes are set up in a tree and I thought you had to progress through the tree to reach each one. Do you have to unlock them all that way or do you just unlock them all at the same time?

Do you need to master both classes to mix arts? I maxed Mastermind and now I'm working on Blast Fencer but can only use Launcher/Saber skills.

Full Metal Jaguar is probably the most broken cheesy class in the game through. You can set it up were you always have 95% dodge and stack life of hit, dodge and attack speed. You can fight thing 20 level higher than you without getting hit.
Also gives you ability to go into infinite overdrive if your are set up right.
