Trpg with good difficulty curve (though I've heard the enemy a.i. is pretty dumb and you only can have 5 chars at thw battle with the choice of chaning them mid battle, luckily those issues were resolved in SN 6) due to the brave system

I'd still play it. The cast is amazing. There is a bit of info on the Sn 1 and 2 main characters if you've played swordcraft story 1 and 2. Lemmy's mom from hajimari no ishi comes from the mortier family that appears in SN 3
