Name the easiest game in a series.
Not necessarily the worst, just easy.
new super mario bros is easier, if that counts
>>320248649
Super Mario Land 2, on the gameboy. It only has one difficult level, the last one.
Dark Souls 1
>>320248649
Persona 4:^)
>>320251474
p3 is way easier
>>320248649
halo 5's campaign
>>320251606
No, it's not. Persona 4 had easier bosses and fights.
With honorable mention to 3D World.
Kingdom Hearts 2
>>320248649
Mario 3
Only actual hard levels was the final world
>>320248649
>>320252293
im being baited right now right?
>>320251356
You're an idiot.
>>320252293
This guy gets it.
Donkey kong country 2
i suck at mario games and it makes me feel worthless
>>320248649
>go down a pipe
>boom I'm at the final world
>still don't know how much of that game I skipped
>>320248649
Out of the first three.
Also the best overall, though I like 1's levels a bit more in pure design quality, this one more than makes up for it with better controls, new moves and more variety.
>>320252365
What? DeS is definitely the easiest in the Souls series. You barely die at all because the enemies never deal any real damage and grass is always instant and plentiful.
>>320252293
Dark Souls was way easier. Then again it might be because Demon's Souls was my first.
>>320252617
Not a single boss in Demon's Souls is actually hard to the point where I ended up beating even the Storm King with just soul arrows at 14 INT because I had lost the sword.
>>320252275
Yes, but your NES would always overheat and glitch out, causing you to lose tons of progress.
Same reason MM1 was unbeatable as a kid.
SMW had a save feature.
>>320252764
Maneater was a pain in the ass for me. While in Dark Souls the only real threat was Ornstein and Smough, which I beat after a few tries.
>>320252513
Except thats not true, you can get to the area, but only see the castle in the distance. The fastest way to Bowsers castle is to get to the first secret world, beat all the secret worlds secret exits to take the warp pad to the last area and go to the castle. All of which is almost impossible for someone to do on their first try without looking it up.
>>320252487
>try to play SMB1 with friends, taking a turn per live
>they can't get past any level past 1-3
>I end up beating every level
>they get bored and want to play something else
How the fuck can people suck at SMB?
>>320252949
Thanks exactly what I did.
>almost impossible on the first try
Those special levels are piss easy, bro
>>320252617
All the enemies deal higher damage and healing is far more limited though.
>>320252925
I've heard a lot of people say this, and the only problem I had with them was dealing damage to them because they kept fucking off.
I guess you'd easily fall of the bridge, but other than that by that point you have so much HP you can just keep tanking those hits in case you fail to dodge them, which again is just a matter of keeping walking and they'll never hit you.
LITERALLY CANT DIE
Ocaringa of time
>>320252949
You don't need to beat all secret levels. Just need to choose the correct way around the star.
>>320253390
He's right though, it's highly unlikely you will find your way through the star world on your first playthrough, without using a guide.
it's like finding all the whistles on SMB3 on your own on your first playthrough, not happening.
>>320253390
You can only get around the star by finding the secret exit in each secret world, you cant open the pathways counter clockwise.
>>320253513
I dunno. I'm not that other guy but that's what I did too. I actually went back and played the rest of the game as well.
>>320253057
>thanks
I meant that's
>>320253513
I guess I'm just really lucky...
>>320253626
>>320253695
I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt, but yeah, it's as unlikely as someone finding the whistle on the fortress of world 1 on SMB3 on the first try. You were indeed very lucky if you didn't look up how to get to star world and still did on the very first time you played the game.
In order to get to the first star world, you need to find various secrets consecutively.
>>320254161
There was nothing to look up back when I played it. Unless it was through word of mouth at school.
>>320254356
Well, it's not that I don't believe you, as I said I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, but there were guides on magazines or official guide books, and yes, there was word of mouthfuck, you actually made me remember this girl at school who actually had a SNES with SMW, I kept asking her how to get to Star World, but she wouldn't tell me, the cunt. Eventually I found out on my complete own and I guess it was more satisfying that way
>>320248649
>>320252113
>>320248857
>>320251118
SML2 is the easiest, agreed.
NSMB/NSMB2 are also pretty trivial.
SM3DL might be next. The last level takes a few tries to get the jumps right, but it's the only challenging level in the game.
SM3DW is about on par with SMW.
Neither is very tough before the Bowser fight, but the optional post-game stuff can up the challenge a bit.
>>320252859
wat
>>320248649
But OP, I can't beat Super Mario World.
I managed to beat SMB3, but for some reason I just can't do world. Fuck you Vanilla dome
>>320252965
Person who's really bad here
9 times out of 10 I just try to go too fast and slip and fall off a ledge.
That or enemies hitting my from the right side of the screen as they scroll in and I didn't see them.
>>320251949
>Persona 4 had easier bosses
are you high
There's not a single boss harder than Yukiko or Kanji in p3
>>320256185
>Yukiko hard in P4
kek
Even the tartar sauce bosses were harder than those guys on average.
That's not even getting into the literal roulette boss
>>320256273
Did you play Golden by any chance? I heard it was made way easier
Still good though
>>320256471
Yukiko had a weakness added to her.
but no I didn't play golden.
Yukiko was easy as shit. In vanilla, even easier in golden.
>>320251356
Came here to post this.
>>320248649
Fallout New Vegas
Sonic the Hedgehog 2
Skyrim
Halo 4/5
Respectively
>>320256886
Thought 2 was easier if I'm honest. Metal blade wrecks literally every boss in the game.
Then again I haven't played 5 in a while.
>>320252965
my timing is always slightly off or i misjudge jumps.
>>320251606
Dude P4 is my favorite game and even I admit it's easier than P3.
>>320257016
You're probably right, I forgot about metal blade. I mostly played 3-5 as a kid and only got 2 and 6 fairly recently.
Though 2 does have a lot of bullshit it in and it is pretty hard if you don't go for metal blade right away.
>>320255940
Really?
The mechanics in SMW feel much less slippery than the previous titles. The cape makes a few levels trivial. Plus, having a backup ability on hand adds insurance.
Not to mention the ability to skip 70% of the game via warps and the last level being comparably easier than that of SMB3.
>>320253139
Yeah, this game reminded me of those edutainment platformers I played as a kid where you couldn't die.
Thankfully you can die in Yoshi's Woolly World.
>>320257767
Well I'd say the hardest thing in 2 is doing quick man without first getting the time stop. At least it is for me.
And you're right about not having metal blade for some things, but I just found it in general easier, enemies do less damage than most other games in the series, more health drops, etc.
Though this is my perspective when coming off 1 which is arguably one of the more bullshit games ever at times
>>320257770
SMW definitely is less slippery. I'm just really fucking bad at 2D mario games. The cape helps me breeze through 3-4 levels, then I get to 2-3 cave levels in a row and I'm stuck. I've played the game on VC for like 4 hours now and I'm still stuck in Vanilla dome with the multitudes of charging chucks and water segments.
Halo 3.
Even on legendary it's a cake walk.
4 isn't much harder.
5 finally stepped up the difficulty a bit again... too bad 5's campaign really disappoints.
