You know I dislike Rockstar as well but GTAV's multiplayer is full of brilliant design decisions. The connection/network might not be the best.
Rock$tar will charge you millions to purchase any of this shit. Not really worth the grind anymore. Hackers are pretty rare on consoles so PC is really the only option to enjoy this new content.

It's not really hacking as it's just injecting a trainer into the game while it's running and using it to change stuff. You don't get banned on steam, just RSC.

I'm a brand new player. I'm level three or something. I can never find any games, so I can't make money at a decent rate.
What's the best way to get started? It sucks being a god damn billionare in singleplayer and then moving up to online where you can barely afford eight pistol rounds.

I still havent beaten GTAV's singleplayer, and the multiplayer seemed trash when I tried it a couple of times.

I got it by posting in the GTAG (GTA General on /vg) and joining the groups, then just playing on clan servers until a hacker appeared, and asking them nicely.
If there's a better way to do it, I don't know about it.
Keep in mind that some of the better unlocks are level-restricted, so you'll still need to run around doing the low-level missions until you unlock Heists. That's a big pay bump, so aim for that. I know what you mean, though - it seems daunting, especially if you don't have a buddy to play with. Don't worry, it doesn't take as long as you'd think.

Use quickjob on your phone and join a LTS you should quickly get a snipers vs stunters or something simlar you can get like 10k a round if its a full lobby
