Undertale barely counts as a JRPG.
Anyways, I need to get around with finishing FP.
I consider Freedom Planet to be more of a Shovel Knight of the Genesis Era with a mix of Gunstar Heroes, Sonic, Ristar, Megaman X and Rocket Knight
And yet even with saying that, Freedom Planet is a better Sonic game than anything put out by Sega over the last 20 years

It's up to you then, my PC isn't even a toaster, it's more like a potato, and it ran Freedom Planet fine, just hooked in a controller and was good to go. Both versions are fine, just look up where the hard freeze happens if you plan on playing story mode. I think it's in a scene with the villain after stage 3.

There are two ship battles, one in the base and one during the Brevon fights. You can time and use the springs to avoid the dash attack in the base fight. For the Brevon ship fight, you can run to the top of the stage to avoid the dash attack or use the invincible frames of your attacks. For the slime missile things, I forgot the optimal way to handle them. Try to reach the side of the stage as fast as you can when you know it's coming.
