It's easier with a machine gun,.but then you won't get the spur for.the endgame.

Bossfight starts.
Shoot at him.
He will fly all the way left. Take the opportunity to walk under him to the right.
Shoot at him.
He will fly all the way to the right, take this opportunity to walk under him to the left.
When he is at relatively low hp he will just start jumping at you. Back peddle and keep shooting him, you have more than enough hp in ez mode to beat him in a dps race, but if you are feeling especially cunning, you can run under him when he jumps and shoot at him while he turns around.
I don't know what to tell you, this boss is so directly straight forward, theres no secret tricks.

Let me start by saying this is possible, ive done it with 4hp. You never want to stop moving forward ever, the second you do you've lost. Don't pay attention to the timer you have beyond enough time. You don't have to fight the angels, and really shouldn't, The little mini boss can be attacked from the first second you enter the area and you can kill it before it can attack if you have the nemisis trained on it from second one.
since you have 50hp, you can just damage buffer through the entire balrog fight with the nemesis, he cant out dps you.

Once you learn the pattern to getting up to Ballos it just becomes a bit of tedium, try conserve as much health as possible, learn all the Cupid spawn points and try your best in that second room with the falling blocks and cupids; it's literally RNG so there's not much you can do. You can always grind out some hearts and EXP during the Heavy Press fight if it comes to that

That said, turbo fire and nemesis will work wonders at cutting down your clear time AFTER you've already gotten down the whole "actually fucking beating it" part.
