What caused the board to become that much shittier in the past few weeks? Is it just a matter of the mods giving up completely?

I'm lactose intolerant so any breakfast with cream, milk, etc absolutely destroys me

So yes, I do eat toast. Three slices of seeded bread toast with generous spreading of marmite (that shit's supposed to be packed with vitamins) and either a banana or an apple

The quality varies between periods of time.
For example; summer is real, and overall this place gets worse during school breaks.

The only persons who say that the site has always been shit, are shitposters looking for self justification.

I don't need to eat in order to have energy to do shit...I'm sitting on my ass all day...I just eat a bowl of cereal or heat up some leftovers to make the hunger pains go away and then get to gaming.

I fully agree with you.

Also never said that the site has always been shit but the quality decrease has existed for far FAR longer than "a few weeks".

Ex: Fedoraposting has existed since 2012 and was brought over from Reddit by their users. TWENTY FUCKING TWELVE. NEARLY FOUR FUCKING YEARS.

Tamago gohan. Take a steaming hot bowl of rice, carve a hole for an egg, crack an egg raw into it, pour soy sauce over, optional: add chopped spring onions, natto, and mix.

If you've got a rice cooker with a keep warm option and can deal with raw eggs they're much more nutritious raw anyway, it's super tasty, filling, very healthy with natto (fermented soybeans) it's said to cover everything you need and ultra fast preparation. Thank me later /v/

>>
>>320219276
Lookie here folks, this is what indoctrination does to people.

>Marmite's publicity campaigns initially emphasised the spread's healthy nature, extolling it as "The growing up spread you never grow out of." The first major Marmite advertising campaign began in the 1930s, with characters whose faces incorporated the word 'good'. Soon afterwards, the rising awareness of vitamins was used in Marmite advertising, with slogans proclaiming that "A small quantity added to the daily diet will ensure you and your family are taking sufficient vitamin B to keep nerves, brain, and digestion in proper working order."

During the 1980s, the spread was advertised with the slogan "My mate, Marmite", chanted in television commercials by an army platoon. The spread had been a standard vitamin supplement for British-based German POWs during the Second World War.

By the 1990s Marmite's distinctive and powerful flavour had earned it as many detractors as it had fans, and it was known for producing a polarised "love/hate" reaction amongst consumers. Marmite launched a "Love it or Hate it" campaign in October 1996, and this resulted in the coining of the phrase "Marmite effect" or "Marmite reaction" for anything which provoked strong and polarised feelings.[25] On 22 April 2010, Unilever threatened legal action against the British National Party for using a jar of Marmite and the "love it or hate it" slogan in their television adverts.[26]

There certainly is something wrong with selling a byproduct that has no inherent value to marks that know no better. If it had any kind of value on its own they wouldn't need to fortify it with other shit just so their claims of it being nutritious aren't lies.

People in the beer making industry were going 'huh, we've got all this yeast extract that we're just throwing away, maybe we can get idiots to buy it!" And they did so, and you bought it, like a chump.

what's this asians don't eat breakfast meme
>>
I usually don't eat breakfast at all. In the morning I simply don't have any appetite. In fact the first time I eat on a usual day is somewhere around 4 in the afternoon when I get home from work or uni. Typically I only eat one or two meals a day, though I suppose they are a bit larger than your typical meal. Could eating only once or twice a day be the reason why I am not losing any weight? Not that I am actively trying, I just always thought I should be a bit slimmer because I often spend very long amounts of time without any food.

Original Marmite poster here

I don't give a shit if it's fortified, most breakfast cereals in the UK are fortified with vitamins and minerals too, only difference is Marmite has more of them. Also, it just tastes fucking nice. Food stuffs like cheese are also made in pretty grim ways, and corn flakes were a complete accident. It tastes nice and it has vitamins and shit in it, where am I going wrong exactly?

I didn't say you were wrong. I said you were a chump. If you can live with that that's fine. If you want to continue If you like the taste of it and want to keep eating it that's your perogative however it would probably be more efficient to just buy a multivitamin if that is the reason you're eating it.

arent you concerned about getting jaundice or something?
>>
>>320222526
Mixing the uncooked egg yolk with the soy sauce in the rice creates the tasty texture and also makes the meal very quick to prepare. Raw ingredients are normal in JP food anyway so it was probably more of a stretch to suggest cooking it first.

Pro-tip: Don't eat standard shit-grade eggs raw if you live in America and don't want to get salmonella. Cage-free or higher (free-range is best) are extremely low risk just because of farming standards. They're also generally much more nutritious.
