He really is the best character, York has no business being as great as he is
I actually love Squall. If you pay attention to the dialogue, he's not the one being an annoying asshole - it's everyone else. Fucking Quistis and Rinoa keep trying to get in your pants and Zell Sephie and Irvine not being capable of being competent for a second can get on anybody's gears. And anyways, it's the player that chooses whether his responses are emo or not.
