anyways, it's pretty good. i used to be a huge jrpg fan until the ps2-era came along and killed turn-based combat in favor of mash-x-to-win-based, and this is one of the very few jrpgs from that gen that actually enjoyed (shadow hearts is another).
although i gotta admit i can't remember shit from the story so don't expect a masterpiece or anything like that.

It was entertaining enough to get me to play it for 100 hours, collecting every weapon, and beating the 100 floor bonus dungeon twice for Kisala's swimsuit.
That was tedious enough for me to immediately sell the game and never want to go back.

Nah senpaitachi I think it's like 540p or something, I can't remember exactly but its double the resolution of the original game, which isn't 1080p. For reference, the vast majority of PS2 games weren't even 480p. They do add some anti-aliasing, though, hence why in Sony's trailer for the software it said "Up-rendered to 1080p." It's kinda misleading, but it is true I suppose.
Also I think with remote play or online sharing or something online play is possible,can anyone verify that? I'll be sad if I can't actually play WotM with my niggas online like I thought.

Combat boils down to spamming AoE attacks and skipping the cinematics so enemies helplessly take tons of damage. The actual melee combat is basic as fuck since all you can really do is move around, jump, shoot your gun, and swing your weapon with zero variation. You literally just mash the weapon button for the same attack animation over and over again and you can't even shoot your gun while in the air. Combat is so shit and unrewarding you'll lose incentive to play unless you've never played an action game.

Up until the point where you have AoE to spam on all your characters, the combat is decent. While each character does the same move over and over, the whole cast of player characters has different moves and styles. The amazon having swapped melee and ranged was a neat touch.
I might have not cared if there was never an option to spam AoE. I thought it was fun until I had that option.
Starts out great and ADVENTURE as fuck, but then the retarded AI makes battle so fucking frustrating that you'l spend most of the time spamming potions to fix the shit your team does.The fact that enemies get tons of health and retarded damage just like some obsidian game at bullshit difficoulties is also pretty bad. Overall a mediocre rpg, there are way, way better choices, expecially on PS2.
