We almost had it with Monster Hunter's third gen.
Tri and 3U had tons of extra rewards like Rathian Loin that describes stuff as being super tasty, but never lets us eat it.

One of my problems with skyrim was this you can cook stuff over fires with all the ingredients result: "heals 4 health lol"

Skyrim's cooking and hunting were massively underdeveloped. For a country that's described as frozen and hungry, they sure don't give a shit about pelts and cooked food.
