I actually think Ingorious Basterds was his worst, by far. There's no point to anything. There's never any tension at all. The only character I gave a shit about was Christoph Waltz's character. There is never any tension at all because the same thing is going to happen even if either Brad Pitt or the French jewish chick failed. Brad Pitt was funny and enjoyable, but had no backstory so I didn't care about him or his story at all. The French woman was the opposite, you get invested in her backstory but she's so boring to watch.

It's all consistent in that it's dodging bullets on a scree, but every enemy and combination of enemies have different patterns, every boss has you using different dodging mechanics and every area has different puzzle mechanics. It introduces something new every twenty minutes or so, uses it a few times then moves on.
