What is the most important role in a MMO and why is it the healer?

Damage is the most important role, the other roles function to keep damage alive.
If your damage was high enough you could remove the need for healers or tanks at all. Because it isn't, healers and tanks prolong the fight long enough so damage wins.

It was alright, not horribly bad. Garuda on the other hand, holy fuck, I ended up changing everyone to a dragoon and just kept jumping. Even then it was still luck.
