No. If you don't care about the story and just want an open world sandbox stealth shooter type of game, get Far Cry 3 or 4.
TPP is outrageously repetitive. There are basically 2 mission types that you repeat for 100 hours.

You can play a few missions like that in TPP. All you have to do is fly directly to the objective when you're selecting your starting point. Some missions you can complete completely from the chopper.
