I'd Mary her O.
Anyone know any levels with good atmosphere honestly i wish we could make stuff from like warioland and warioland 2, or like a secret of mana type of atmosphere. Just got this game today and would be stoked on some levels with rich atmosphere.
why do japanese people have a thing for moles?
Sure, but I didn't make anything since the exam weeks started. Can't play anything either, so sorry in advance. There's a hidden yoshi in this level, see if you can find it.8 final exams in a single university session should be illegal.
Second level was mostly a test thing. There used to be a firebar thing covering half the screen in trial by fire but I didn't like how it confined you in the corner. Might switch back to it and remove most cannons or put pipes in the air that drops lava bubbles. What do you guys think?

Prepare to fuck this unhygienic 12-year old. Will you take the backdoor or will you keep your socks on? Uh-oh! Looks like dad got to her first, avoid the chlamydia! Must of just been the tip... the hymen is still intact. Rip and tear! Nice intercourse! Looks like you caught herpes. Ride out the night terrors with the antiviral pills!

Deus Ex Magikoopa 2: Fire & Ice
AF76-0000-0115-56D4
This course feels more like Metroid than Mario. It has four pseudo-checkpoints early and two real checkpoints later. There are lots of optional secrets, and the ending is very flashy. I made an adjustment to one of the secret areas, so this is a new upload of a course I first posted a couple weeks ago.
Can you collect all of the hidden 1-Ups? Can you clear out any of the secret coin rooms? Can you reach the spot in the screenshot? Can you find and kill the three screaming enemies?
You might also like the first course in the series. It's a little harder, but it's also a little shorter.

If anyone can make it through either of these, I'll play everything you've made as soon as I see you on the course history.
I'm finishing work on a small, unrelated course as well. I'll probably have it done this week.
Here's an old one I had, updated with checkpoints because it was pretty long.

Just try out levels from these threads, there tends to be good, varied stuff.
One of my favorite levels is a collection of very short levels taking place in game boy advances, I don't have the code with me unfortunately but the anon who made it could find the thread.

It must be this one.

IIRC, it's from Ryan, the "Escape the Dungeon with Your Dad" guy.
>>320086807
It was popular in america in the 70s, and we ported it to them and it got stuck there.

Bumping with Bowserball. It's not one of mine, but everyone should give it a shot. Simple concept and great execution. I hope this guy makes more.

Let's Play Battleship!
320B 0000 0118 2BB1
It's based on the board game. The action takes place on the sub-screen. Each of the ships has a specific item on it that you will need to destroy the blocks and drop the locks that lead to the goal back on the main screen. I'm very pleased with how it turned out. A friend of mine did stumble on one spot you could get stuck, so I'll fix that soon, but barring that one niggle it's good to go.
You pick a chute...
This is a series I'm making with some design cues inspired by DKC, including 2 secret rooms per level and catchy level names.
The newest level is 6-3: Tarmac Toss-Up
(044B-0000-0119-CA8B)
... and possibly land on a boat. There is quick access back to the chutes, but you can storm the ships pirate style with some skillful jumps should you choose.
>The Great Airship Raid
16DB-0000-0051-FDB8
Hoping to catch the massive Koopa Air Fleet off guard, you set out on a daring raid in hopes of saving the Mushroom Kingdom from total conquest...
>Bowser's Vile Spin Fortress

Only those who can master the spin jump will ever make it out of this diabolical stronghold alive.
MegaMario Wily Castle 1: 506A-0000-0113-D989
This is the latest in a megaman-esque campaign I've been making. If you like it make sure to check out the others from my profile and/or follow me for more. I'll be restructuring each stage(including checkpoints on the older ones) after I finish, so if you think anything needs changing, let me know. Any and all feedback is appreciated and I'll always return the favor.
Wily 2 is mostly finished. Just gotta work on boss ideas.

Love me a good spin jump level. Happened to find the propeller suit so that helped a lot
>>320086964
Very well made level, it had the right amount of challenge for a level in World 3.How the hell did you have 8 finals? Most people I know only ever take 5 classes per semester.
>>320091569
Thanks man! I just played your goomba shoe level, I had no idea you could kill Bill Blasters and Cannons with the ground pound!
>>320091719
I have 5 courses, but two include a laboratory exam and not the kind you can go in unprepared. Also, I managed to get the date of one of my mid-semester exams wrong so I completely skipped it, but the teach was nice enough to let me take it at the end of the semester with the actual final exam.
>>320092274
Yikes, and I thought my finals were bad.
>>320092452
Yeah, I'm pretty sure computer engineering was designed by Hitler himself. Year 1 has dozens of newcomers every year, now I'm lucky to be with 10 other peeps in my classes.
Such is life ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Gonna sift through the thread a bit, not feeling so hot, think I caught the flu from a coworker but Insomnia is kicking in and I can't sleep. FML. Maybe some /v/ stuff will help.
>>320090696
Sweet, some new stuff from you.
>>320087551
If you reuploaded it, it'll have a different code, one in the picture isn't working.
>>320090786
>>320090590
Played the first version of this before you reuploaded. It was a pretty well executed concept. Mildly trial and error-ish but that's the nature of battleship. Been playing your other uploads on and off and they've all been enjoyable and challenging.

WHAT THE FUCK
>>320095870
Go barge in a drawfag thread and fix it then.
>>320095538
Thanks, the differences now are that the cruiser is totally different, the first iteration was too easy. It has monty moles and pits now because there weren't any pits in the entire level. I've made edits to the Battleship and Sub to prevent the player from skipping the traps with damage blink. You have to bring Yoshi to the end of the sub, you have to be big to drill the blocks in the bship. I also made changes to the top screen to allow quick travel to and from the start position and the lock room.

Shark Tank
(A21B-0000-00EC-BEB7)
I made this about a month ago, experimenting with an idea about enemies that follow you.
Ghost Machine!
(74AB-0000-00BC-A830)
Probably the most popular level I have, ghosts are cars!
Icy Aqueducts
(CBC2-0000-0091-1944)
A level I put quite a bit of work into, There was more I wanted to do with it but the games limitations prevented all that.
>>320100618
note; shark tank has this useless section I put in just because I really liked the POW block stacking in bowsers puzzle dungeon.
>>320098909
Alright, so first mistake you made was having enemies that close right from the start. If somebody is momentarily distracted or not paying attention, they'll get killed in under a second from the level start. That's gonna shut off pretty much anybody doing 100 mario immediately. Even those who aren't are going to find it frustrating and annoying. If you absolutely feel the need to do something like this, try spawning a powerup on the player when they start, even if it's just a mushroom. That way it feels like less of a punishment for just playing your stage and more a reward for being on their feet.
The difficulty is all over the place with the rest of the stage. Sometimes it's pretty simple, other times it's so full of bullshit you just have to take the hit and damage boost through. Try to keep things on a curve, and after particularly hard areas use a checkpoint(shake the arrow sign). Or at the very least provide more power ups.
Mass enemies is almost never fun unless used in a creative manner. Rather, you want to try for cleverly placed enemies. Try to keep it a threat to the player without just spewing a billion galoombas or fireballs at them. Something static that can be learned and played around.
Lastly, the stage lacks an aesthetic. It's very big and empty. It manages to be straightforward in where to go and what to do most the time, but it needs decor. At the very least some coins to fill in the void. However, you also don't want to overdo it either.
It's certainly not the worst stage I've played, but it is obvious you're inexperienced. Plenty of people have made worse on their first attempts. Starred it because you're just starting out and genuinely trying to learn and improve.
I just got the game, and made these three levels. Give them a shot.

Ghost machine was cool. I beat it on my first try.
Those fucking springs at the end though man, I had to run back to a pipe to reset the position and almost lost to time.
>>320103418
huh, could you make it back? you're supposed to go down after, though some people just ride the ghost straight up.
>>320103619
I jumped back to where the beatles get shot out of and went down a pipe above there, then came back out and just ignored the P-switch the second time around and hit the goal.
>>320103789
thats a way i was not aware of, though i guess ive never tried.
you're supposed to go down and ride the ghost up-left, theres a break in the ceiling that lets you pass it. though you can also just reset the position and ride the ghost straight up into the goal.
but i think ill leave that, its nice to have multiple paths i think.
thanks for the playthough guy, when i get on my wii I'll be sure to look through your levels. whoever you are. I'll find out.
>>320104203
All of my levels are troll levels. >>320102949
Well at least the second one is. The third onejust has a misleading name
>>320104354
as long as they're winnable I'll probably still look. unless they're frame perfect jumps through spike traps I usually give a map at least 20 tries before I call it.
Has there been any Mary-O 34 yet
