I want to play Atelier.
Should I pick the PS3 or PSVita versions
I heard the PSVita versions have performance issues but they also have lots of extra content.
I can stand some framedrops but I dont want to play for unplayable shit like Borderlands2 or RERevelations2 on Vita
My Neighbor Totori

If you can stand the framedrops, Vita.
Get the PS3 version of Rorona Plus though. Should be $20 atFUCKING GAMESTOP.

PSV version of Totori is straight up garbage. It uses like size 2 font, plays like a slideshow even in undemanding sequences, and on top of everything it's just not a good game.
PSV version of Rorona+ has framedrops (particularly noticeable in Meruru's finishing move) and crashes during festivals.
PSV version of Meruru is the best Arland port, but has massive slowdowns in town square and some bosses.

so PS3 Totori and Rorona+ and PSvita Meruru+?

Be mindful however that PSV versions of Totori and Meruru have ton of extra content you don't have to pay for, and they also rebalance the game. PS3 Totori in particular is ridiculously easy with a certain item not nerfed.

just wait for the eventual PS4 trilogy port.

The vita versions of every game are the definitive versions.
Besides Rorona+ since that's also on PS3

What would happen if Totori takes off that jacket?

Like I said, If you can stand the frame drops, get all of them on the Vita.
Should wait for golden week or whenever they have a sale for them though.
Get PS3 Rorona Plus since it's cheaper to find online.
The Vita games have some severe slowdown later in the game (Just look up people playing in the area called Night's Domain.) Ayesha suffers pretty badly as well. Supposedly Escha & Logy and presumably Shallie have a new engine.
