Its gameplay can keep you occupied for an hour or so but after that it gets stale and repetitive and leaves you with a feeling of a not-so good sense of satisfaction/enjoyment.
There is a reason why it's not being hailed as GOTY
Because even though the graphics of the game are done well, it's gameplay (which was one of the major defining factors that made the Star Wars battlefront series get its reputation from the first two games) is objectively shit and a mess that only EA could have done.
It's not even logically sound to defend EA for its practices, one of the worst companies that graced the videogame industry.
