Some say that with mouse you are better but I often don't know where I am aiming at till I shoot because I lost the pointer on the screen with so many things happening.
With a pad, you know with your thumb where you are pointing at, so that basically gives you better idea.

Yeah it is really good. One of my fav games this year and I find sad that there is no love for it here.
Its a fast game full of action and allows you to play short games of 20 min that make you coming back to it.
Steam says i played it 33 hours and got a 34% unlocked. Still, I will play this till I die.

Luftrausers is their previous game. Expect similar amounts of action here, they really have a nice touch for shootings and explosions, but nuclear throne is definitely a LOT deeper than Luftrausers and one can imagine.

The game is reallyfun
The thing I like so much about it is that pretty much no one plays the same way. Some people main Rogue, some people main Horror and so on. And with all the weapons and shortcuts and strategies, people play the game extremely differently.
I for one main the Eyes melee set. Eyes has telekinesis, so he can pull enemies closer to him. With the right mutations you can make a hole in a wall, pull basically every single enemy so they are pressed against the wall and then you swing the melee weapon. Bam, they are all dead.

They were in Early Access and the game was always very playable during this period, but when they released it was for the PSX event and had to rush, so some problems showed up because the developers were fucking exhausted.

Around Update 91, bunch of stuff started to break, namely random crashes on certain areas (Junkyard especially), UI icon fuck ups, overlaying Mutations and the like.
Even now, a bunch of other issues are still around (Co-Op not working, the crashes, Daily/Weekly runs not working, achievements not unlocking, etc.) and it feels almost rushed out for PSX.

Once you get past lil hunter it's pretty much a cakewalk. You'll already have a pretty good buildup of perks, and since you're in the upper areas you'll spawn some pretty OP weapons.
DON'T STAND IN THE MIDDLE WHEN HE ACTIVATES!
Walk up to him and touch him, then shoot him. When the fight starts, destroy the 4 generators to reduce him to half health. Avoid the big balls since they can one shot you. But, the occasionally drop pickups. Watch out for the guardians that occasionally spawn. Dodging is key.
