Make it less like Marvel and more like Street Fighter. Nobody likes watching long ass combos that do no damage anymore and for a game so niche as Skullgirls it shouldnt expect the player to have extensive knowledge to know how to pull them off when its audience is so low. Other than that the game is fine. What they need to do it actually promote it and generate interest.

When it comes to a 6 button niche game that will never have an audience, it should be. If the game was 3 buttons or something, it could be like any other long combo game. The button layout, along with extended combos that turn the game into a single player snoozefest for newer players, makes the barrier of entry difficult. There no reason to try and master Skullgirls because the only people who play it are the diehard fans who have been playing it for like 4 years now.
