okay, now THAT is actually pretty cool.
didt expect something like this to be existing there.
Except theres nothing actually there. Apart from ruined buildings with loot trunk filled with level dependent shit. I saw a crashed vertibird and I was naive enough to think it meant something, but no its actually just a quick travel marker
>>320002142
The loot system is the worst.
>master level chest
>50 bottle caps
>15 50. ammo
>15 38. ammo
>night vision pipe pistol
too bad there's nothing interesting to find in it
literally whats wrong with Fallout 4 is the interiors tend to get boring. at least in skyrim even if the dungeons are mostly copy pasted it still gave a fresh expereince. take the dwemer ruins for example
>>320003664
Dwemer ruins were the most boring shit ever, especially when they connected to falmer ruins.
God. Fuck that shit seriously
>>320002142
It's the site of a nuclear blast, what did you expect to find?
>>320004290
>egyptian ayy lmaos
>a fucking golden ornamented staff that shoots snakes or lets you mind control people
>egyptian clothing
I've never been there and not the guy you replied to but here's some ideas
Where is this
>>320004613
Lower left map corner i presume.
>>320004290
At least one ruined building to explore that wasn't just one big room.
>>320000364
anyy lmaos?
>>320000364
>not in power armor
>>320004498
This. Bethesda seem intent on keeping Fallout grouded to their world, ignoring the fact that FO2 had Dr Who and Monty Python and The Holy Grail's knights in it.
>>320000364
>accessing mag locks....
>TAB TAB TAB TAB TAB TAB TAB TAB TAB TAB
>>320005176
>>320005102
>using casual armor
You play on normal TOO?
>>320006271
No I play on Survival :)
>>320000364
In FO3 I loved exploring because at the end of a location there was typically something rare, like a unique weapon, but in this game everything feels so sterile and level-scaled, every safe has identical contents, steamer trunks are just a pile of ammo and mediocre equipment i don't even want
i've found damn near every location in this game (over 300) and the only "bosses" or cool unique things I've found is a much, much smaller list
Dunwich Redux is the most unique place I've found in the whole game and that's just another carryover from FO3 along with Liberty Prime
>>320005176
you can just hold tab m8
>>320003423
and to add insult to injury the easy locks have better loot oh and they're 2 feet aways from that master tresor
>>320000364
>the hideous, empty landscape with the ugly low res pyramid is cool
Christ no wonder these games sell. You people really are dumbfucks
>>320000364
>people live there and don't get radiation poisoning.
You know what, it's shit.
>>320006656
was it ever explained how they survive?
>>320006650
glowing sea is really cool when theres a radiation storm happening
>>320006656
the only people who live there are Atom ghouls and Virgil, who literally went there because the radiation was "too strong" for the Institute to follow him
>>320004290
>new vegas
>found vault
>the place has backstory
>has special enemy
>you can decide the ending of that place
stop defending this game you bethdrone, everything cant be empty if they at least has some effort filling it
>>320000364
its a boring location filled with ghouls. no unique looking guns or armor either. goty material righ there.
>>320000364
>so excited to eventually reach Witchcraft museum
>absolutely nothing of interest inside, just another (ANOTHER) fucking deathclaw spans on first floor
"fuck guys we could have a super strong ghoul teacher who was dressed as a witch to scare the kid locked in the basement or something"
"that's work, just spawn a deathclaw"
>>320000364
>/v/ spoils literally anything and everything cool in this game
>which is like 5 things
>no reason to even go back at this point
I hate this place and I hate myself.
>>320007941
We saved you 50 bucks, you should be thanking us instead
>>320006806
>radiation is too strong
>you can get a hazmat suit at a clothing shop for like 40 caps and it negates the radiation entirely
>>320008687
even worse:
>institute creates synths to do their work
>unaffected by radiation anyway
>>320008687
the hazmat suit gives you such a ridiculous rad resistance that rad-x is completely useless too.
the Mysterious Serum gives you some insane red effect like "minus 3600 rads" even stronger than the suit
but i have never been in any danger of rads overtaking my health
every single vendor sells stims and radaway
Whats also an absolute tit is the fact that bethesda covered 1/5th of the entire game world with the atlantic, introduced a breath underwater perk so I took the hint that theres some nice ocean exploration I could do, maybe find a cave or so with some unique event or easter egg
but ofc fucking not, the entire fucking place is empty apart from copypaste shipwrecks (They knew people would explore the ocean, but still didnt put anything there) At this point its just a taunt
>>320012205
I bet it's for dlc.
>>320012205
it is really baffling that instead of something there's just nothing.
literally the first thing i saw people saying when the full map was revealed was "oh man I bet there's something really cool way over in the corner of the map underwater, can't wait"
people thought there was tons of water because there'd be underwater landmarks but no. combined with the fact that for NO REASON AT ALL there is an incredibly murky layer of grey over your vision underwater (occasionally it glitches if you stare low enough and reveals all the colorful undersea plants and such, like it should be at all times?? wtf??)
water does +10 rads per second, but you can get the perk to remove that at level fucking 1 if you want, it is absurd
