I couldn't do anything but Destroy after everything that I'd been through. Control seemed to be a lie and Synthesis was just too "magic".
And I couldn't bring myself to kill Shepard. I had to keep the hope alive, even the smallest most one-in-a-million hope, that she could eventually escape to a small planet and live a happy life with Liara, away from it all.

I picked Synthesis, because it was the 'hardest' to unlock and therefore must be the best ending.
