Has anyone ever tried robot crown of guns heavy heart and rabbit paw? It's one of the most ridiculous combos in the game. Add in throne butt, back muscle, and second stomach and you've got the perfect build to cover the floor with weapons.
I tried to play it, but it's such a buggy mess and the camera sucks so much that I dropped it after like an hour or something. Seriously can't see the appeal in it, unless you have ADHD or something.

Horror is a gender-less mass of radiation, anon.
Horror's strength comes from having a little more freedom in what you build with the extra mutation option. The beam is a boon, but its own strength went up and down through updates. Now, you usually save it to do extra damage in the late game while also protecting your front because each projectile in the beam can destroy another projectile. When you ultra mutate, there is no reason not to be using all the time post-loop. It's also really useful for big enemies and bosses because they drop the rads you hit them with when they die.

Alright champ, Little Hunter is designed to either go in on you or run away. He'll usually only do one or the other. You also have around 7-15 seconds to clear away some enemies before he lands and starts. You have to use that time to find somewhere with walls. If he has line of sight he'll fire either a straight line of 12 shots that will melt you or a wall of bouncer shots. So find a wall and pop out take shots at him. If you run away he'll spawn IPD grunts which might help you with the cover situation because portals destroy walls. If he spawns a fuckload of grunts, eventually he will spawn Big Guys one at a time. He also has a tiny health pool, so you can just fucking blow him away when he spawns if you have the weapons to.

As soon as you enter the third ice stage you have like 10 seconds to clear out as much as you can, i prefer shotgun or explosives at this point. You can watch for shadows once he spawns and pre-emptively shoot at his landing spot. If you have the right setup, you can kill him in only a few shots before he can even do much.
I believe his AI will continually summon cops if you're not within his line of sight, and a summon leaves him open for 1-2~ seconds while he makes the call.

if you have bad reaction times, keep your distance and backpedal a lot. you only really need to watch for the explosive monsters since they'll instantly kill you.

try to stay calm and clear your spawn point as quickly as you can. mainly focus on the big dogs, kill the standing guys if convenient or if there's too many. consider bringing a melee weapon here if you're having a ton of trouble dodging stuff. i've heard that the mutation that digs through walls can secure you a safe cubby for palace right off the bat

Kill the guys in lab coats. It's really just another sewers though. Has seeds for mostly small, hallway layouts. Complete with fast moving enemies that do 2-3 damage. Labs is honestly the easiest transition. Palace is meant to be tough, so the enemies were changed to fill it with projectiles. Just keep moving and don't get near the dogs.

how the fuck do I get in a van? I've done it once, and I almost killed the captain with my heavy auto, but then he telefragged me. Yeah, some things could be harder or at least really different. Changelogs frequently included things like altering the range of enemy lines of sight and their reaction times. Melee weapons can reflect bullets. Can be handy in a pinch.
Theres a perk which can give you more health. Its kinda handy.
Likewise theres a perk that does damage on touch, if I remember right, that should make you immune to most charging enemies, but its been a while.
Theres a mutation that makes it so you can survive dieing once.
Your explosions can destroy bullets and does tons of damage. Save it for annoying enemies or when you're swarmed and play cautiously as all hell.
