>(feed the dog)
le your choices dont matter faec
>>319922109
>dog bites you regardless of what choice you make
BRAVO!
Do any of you guys NOT like dogs in video games? I've never been much of an animal lover and I can't understand all the memes about Dogmeat and dogs in other games. It's all HUR HUR DOGE I LOVE DOGE IF YOU HURT DOGE I KILL U XDDDD
>>319922427
I don't like it when developers put animals in their games in order to get an emotional reaction because they can't make me care about their characters/story otherwise.
How do they get away with this shit?
If any of you interacted with the dog, you're a goddamn moron. As a child you should've been taught NEVER to touch a dog you don't know
>>319922427
Autistic people connect better with animals than with people. Many parents will get a dog that will make the autistic fucks deal better with their emotional outbursts.
This is also why on 4chan people laugh about people dying and go ''lol, that 6 year old kid deserved to have his head caved in LOL XD'', but the moment you show any sort of abuse towards dogs it's ''WOW WOW WOW WOW, TOO FAR MAN! TOO FAR''.
It's autism.
>>319922756
As if you're even given a choice.
>>319922925
That's a stupid assumption. Keep in mind a lot of dogs in video games and movies are in items marketed to normies.
Dogs are easy because you give them the same "characteristics" every other god damned dog have and you've got yourself a "character".
>>319923102
But if you actively use the options like touching/petting/feeding it, though. I know it doesn't make a difference, but you're dumb if you take the "dog is my best fwiend" options.
Dogs are up front with their emotions . they are always happy to see you . they are more consistent than humans . it's been proven that giving a dog to those with mental illnesses like Alzheimer's increases quality if life . people who don't smile normally will smile when they interact with a dog
.
You know, If Telltale committed to making one game where your choices actually mattered, that would be fucking great. Instead, they're making like six where none of your choices matter and everything ends the same goddamn way anyway.
Holy shit, the Fallout games have more freedom of choice than anything Telltale has produced and "adaptive storytelling/freedom of choice" is one of the only advertising points they have. As-is, if you get a choice to save someone that you can actually screw up, they're either never going to appear again or die anyway shortly later.
YOU'RE A MUTT

Just a reminder. Dont shoot the dog when you impale it.
That fucker deserves to suffer.
Reminder that if you saved Kenny, you're a sociopath
>>319923796
>not putting it out of its misery
>letting something suffer just because nature controls its actions
Dogs are shit tier animals and pets.
>>319924383
No fuck you, i wanted that dog to feel the same pain it caused me.I thought we was gonna be friends.
>>319923487
hate choices
>>319924546so did I ;_; I've spent the afternoon mourning my dead dog and then this happened.
>>319924383
Dogs aren't controlled by nature. Different dogs will act differently under the same circumstances.
If the dog attacks you without provocation then it's a shit dog, pure and simple.
>>319924471
Fuck off, Ahmed.
>>319924791
>hungry animal
>not controlled by nature
>>319924870
Some hungry dogs will attack humans, some hungry dogs wont.
Some hungry humans resort to violence and thievery, others don't.
How hard is it to understand, autismo? Would you say someone who rapes women is controlled by nature when there are 90 year old virgins who never raped anyone?
>>319923462
Until Dawn should have embarrassed Telltale and David Cage and all those other "muh choices" faggots who can't write anything more than 2 possible branches for their storylines.
>>319925108
>comparing a sapient, self-aware being to an animal
>>319925363
>this faggot
I'm all for advocating the blatant superiority of humans, but if you don't think dogs (and most moderately intelligent animals) have inner emotional lives you're a fucking idiot whose about 20 years behind mainstream science.
>>319925357
They made choices seem more important, hell they actually did in fact, but I wish it made more impact on the ending. Oh well, they certainly did do better then TT and Cage's efforts combined.
>>319925597
>science
Psychology is not a science.
>>319925363
I have to do it, because you stupid fucks can't understand simple things without someone making a comparison.
If I just said ''Some hungry dogs will attack humans, some hungry dogs wont'' it would go SWOOSH right over your head.
>>319925851
But it is, even though you might disagree personally.
[glass him]
The choices don't matter, but I was pretty well tricked into thinking they did the first time I played it.
I hope S3 is good, S2 was pretty damn disappointing and frustrating to play
>Thought the game would be Clem and Dog adventures
>Ends up being Clem does everything: Fuck russians edition
>>319922293
They could've made an alternate turn of events that'd still put you in the same place
>Feed dog
>Walkers or shenanigans attacks
>Dog defends you
>Clem falls into the spikes that the dog would originally fall into during the tussle
>Cut her forearm
>Dirty cut causes infection
>Nick finds you
etc
>>319928762
anon,honey, that sounds like effort.
why would you ever put effort into anything anymore
>Human dies
no one cares
>Dog dies
"Aww so sad"
I've never had a pet, so this pandering never affects me. Dogs are cool though.
>>319928762
but a cut wouldnt look like a bite wound and they wouldn't have a reason to lock you in the shed from it.
>>319929745
thats where the alternate route comes in, now you get to approach nick's group without everyone wanting to kill you.
But of course thats effort. and effort is a no no in todays world
>>319928323
>people are screaming all game at a little girl so she would make decisions to save everyone like she is some wise sage
It was fine when nigger was making calls but holy fuck this is a fucking child the fuck you want from her you stupid ctuns. Even the absence of choice in this "game" isn't that bad compared to this bullshit.
>>319930267
>THE TURBINE IS MAKING SO MUCH NOISE

What >>319930248 said pretty much
But if you must keep that in, Clem could arrive with a fever and they'd be sure that you're turning.
>>319922925
Buzzwords aside, I think the main reason people get more offended by an animal dying is that we all know that dogs are less intelligent than humans, and a lot of people feel the need to protect things that they feel are inferior to them.
Basically when you see a human get killed, and you think they could have prevented it somehow, you see a dog get killed, you think it couldn't do anything about it because it's practically defensless
>>319930765
>Clem could arrive with a fever and they'd be sure that you're turning.
Well now that would just imply that theyre retarded
>>319924383
What if nature controls my impulse to want to see it suffer for being such a bad mutt?
>>319931296
People who are turning do have fever.
And they are retarded. Or has it been that long since you played it?
>>319931394
That's not nature. That's just you being a bad person.
>>319922109
>[You're a mutt]
