AC:Black Flag or Farcry 4.
And why.
Far Cry 2

K thanks
Black Flag.
There's a billion shooters. Not many games that let you feel like a pirate.

This, with Dylans mod
Between those two? Tough choice but I'd go with AC4, I think. Much better story and overall game feel. FC4 had far better gameply though.

Black flag doesn't really accomplish this though
>not a boring busywork timesink

It does. Sailing around and raiding ships is the most redeeming shit in that game. Since there's only a handfull of games that allows that, it's worth the experience.
Neither.
Uplay.

the mechanics are boring and shallow and it's tainted with loathsome and mandatory AC chores in the modern setting, as well as being just an highly unwelcome element in an almost unrelated installment of this putrid franchise
yeah neither preferably
any ubisoft game recently

>AC elements in Black Flag are shit
Shocking news.
Still, the pirate stuff is entertaining, even if you're constantly reminded this is an Assassins Creed game. My recommendation stands.
I enjoyed FC3 a lot is 4 petty much more of the same with improvements?
Tried getting into FC2 but couldn't unfortunately
Far Cry, no numbers. The only worthwhile game in either series.
