Do like Diablo where every class is capable of taking care of itself as well as working with other classes to better advantage, were tanking, healing, damage, utility are variances in class/build but not mandatory.
And at the risk of total hate Diablo 3 did this pretty well, particularly the drop in drop out game play would be great in MMOs thanks to all the old dungeons ruined after hours because it turns out your healer got grounded.
