No, I meant how Verhoeven's hyperbole of media turned into a visionary, 1:1 depiction.

If they exist they're hidden well.

Like fuck, I had thought the horseshit would have more uses than just the car thing, If they had included dogs in the final game I can imagine that rolling in it would be useful, like otherwise guards with dogs would slowly move towards your position like how the Skulls do.
>>
>>319895161
>no one has found them all yet
Yes they have, including ones not in game

>multiple ending depends on choices you make
They're based on what major characters you kill.

There's also 3 main endings (+one you can't reach legitimately). Different phone calls aren't different endings, it's just slight variation of the same ending, same with the last choice with Toriel. Chrono Trigger is a game that has a lot of endings.

If you want to praise the game, praise the neat little secrets littered through the game. Not the endings.

Ish. Shame Kojima got fired and the game got shoved out the door. Still, there's a handful of things you can do. Here's all the radio stuff people know about

>Set iDroid to play from the speaker
>African lullaby will put enemies to sleep
>When enemies lose track of you, you can play the 'all clear' to get them to return to their normal posts
>Playing the soldier with a stomach ache on loop while in a toilet will make guards mostly ignore the toilet
>Playing Paz's humming near a wandering mother base soldier will cause them to run up to you and ask to be fultoned

There's also another neat radio trick but I can't think of it off the top of my head. That's just radio stuff too. I know people have come across a couple other things too. It's just not as TECHNOLOGY dense as 3 was.

After playing Undertale, one thing I hope to see in vidya more is your choices affecting alternate playthroughs.

Imagine going through an RPG in new game + and all the treasure chests have been opened. Or a TellTale game where no matter what choices you make the second time around, you get a result similar to the one from your first playthrough's choice.

This is why I love Robo Cop, that and the really absurd and obvious Jesus comparisons are hilarious. Imo RoboCop is one of the most underrated films out there.
>>
>>319895443
Yeah.

There's a tape that has the sound of a guy taking a shit and if you use it in the outhouses, guards will refuse to look in there.

The tapes with these effects (the "Enemy down!" tapes, the shitting tapes, the Paz/Quiet humming tapes) will begin to warp and break if you use them too much.

If you stop playing the game for a while - I don't know how long, maybe 5 days or a week or something - and go back to Mother Base, D-Dog will be overjoyed to see you, plus Ocelot and Venom will touch on the fact that he "hasn't been around much lately".

Early in the game, if you destroy the comms equipment required in C2W before actually starting the mission, the mission will start, Kaz will point out that you've already done it and the mission will end instantly.

The water gun destroys fuseboxes easier and quieter than C4.

If you knock out/tranq a soldier and put him on a bed, others will ignore him.

I think there's others but these are the ones I remember from other threads
>>
>>319895862
Oh, and to add, the lullaby only works at night I think.

In MGS2 there's a bucket of ice in the crew's lounge on the tanker. If you shoot it, not only does the ice fly out, it melts realistically; the cubes closer to one another melt slower than the isolated ones.

Algorithm generated endings, for example saving 5 characters x 3 different runs (pacifist, neutral, evil) x doing 3 things in different order (1x2x3) gives you 90 different endings, he may have calculated it something like that.

Sort of. The first few times you use a box to move around and only like one guy sees it he'll call HQ about it and they won't care and tell him to shut up.

If you do it again he calls again and they just tell him to shoot at the box. If you jump out of it and hide, he calls them back and tells them that nothing happened and he swears he saw it move, so HQ schedules a psyche evaluation for the dude.

Only one worth mentioning that I can think of so far.

Metal Gear Solid is really good with that stuff.

What I remember doing in GTAIV, was when I was doing a mission with Jacob. He gets in the car, and talks about lighting a joint. Nico doesn't mind. If you press LB, you break the window on your side. It's something you have to do before you can start shooting out of it. If you break the window, smoke will start coming out.

>If you have Elly in your party whenever you fight Grahf, he will never attack her because he knows that she's the reincarnation of Sophia.
>The Gazel Ministry knows your every move because the save points you've been using are transmitting your data directly to them.

The one on the right is a spy.

That picture is a bad example. Look at the colors. There's model swaps or something going on here. Being red, you would see the red spy wearing the mask instead of the full blue model. That's why right is making eye contact, because they are on the same team.

Enemy spys will make eye contact, but they avoid it if they can. The only time they will make eye contact is if you run up into their face like you clearly want their attention.

I remember seeing this mentioned ages ago. People were trying it with heavies. Unless you were standing directly in front of the heavy, the eyes were always diverted away from you.

Anyone want to test this for themselves?

I was gonna test it with my friend but he's not online yet

Word. If we get one more person that wants to test it then we can exchange names and whatnot. 3 is better because then you can do a side-by-side.

So yeah. Need one more.

Downloaded the DVD release of robocop and splice that scene into the disc.

Does the game change if you never use save points, or are they required?

It's kind of difficult to notice at longer distances, but if you get a second to stare at someone close to you, you can easily notice it

>other npc saw everything and pull out a gun
>Russian mob out of nowhere
>police show up
>it lasted for 3 minutes and the mob got away

Also you can do those police mission and don't use your gun, you can just call the police and watch everything

Reminds me how The Last of Us was supposed to have all these groundbreaking AI features with enemies that really care about their own resources and survival, then it ended up shipping with the same old FPS idiot guys who rush towards you through gunfire.

If it starts to rain, any guards patrolling will seek shelter.

It's a minor detail but honestly it's not even that insane like earlier games.
