I don't see the problem with the voice acting. The fucked up progression in terms of items, level requirement and monster distribution is far more distracting.
And what the FUCK is up with that combat system, where every single encounter with nekkers/wolfs/drowners means fast attack, dodge, fast attack, dodge etc or you get your shit pushed in. Meanwhile every big monster is a joke because you can easily dodge a single enemy for an eternity.

Having Japanese voices but English text is so damn distracting. If I read the translation, then the whole exercise would be pointless. On the other hand, ignoring it is really hard and also really stupid, especially in the case of VNs, they are meant to be read after all. So just synchronization without text in Japanese won't do and there are almost no Japanese games on Steam that have both.
