I know some kid and his rookie Digimon partner were able to deeat Zeedmilleniummon (which is the digivolved form of Milleniummon, which is just the DNA digivolution of the ultimate level Kimeramon (the chimera of living/animal Digimon) and the mega level Machinedramon (the chimera of machine/robotic digimon)) by having the rookie digimon fuse and also DNA digivolve with Zeedmilleniummon, which resulted in the ultimate level Digimon, Cyberdramon. While Cyberdramon has the mind of that rookie level, it also gained a noticeable mood change, such as being more aggressive and mean.

Thing is charizard vs greymon is a decent match up on its own right, but factoring evolutions fucks it up. Digimon just scale a lot higher than pokemon do.
