Didn't you guys hear? It's not going to be a sequel to the Wii or Wii U at least, and likely not their next generation console.
They claim it's going to be something completely different, and they haven't ruled out the 3DS being replaced. Even then, the Wii U still has a great library of exclusives to gorge yourself on, so why wait?
