I had more fun with Bravely Default than I did with any recent action-oriented JRPG.

I'm in the middle of Dragon Quest 3 on the GBC. My party line up is currently Merchant, Thief, Cleric.
Are there any recommendations for a party near level 17 at this point? I just got the ship.

I got to a city after waking some people up and doing the pyramid where I talk to a girl and she just freezes my game.

Yeah, I was playing DQ 1&2 on the SNES, and while DQ1 was okay for the most part, I got into a SHIT ton of trouble with glitches in 2 that made it almost impossible to complete.
I ran into a glitch where, apparently, if your second character's name is longer than a certain amount, a sidequest quest in the last town fucks up and puts you in an infinite text box loop, and if you start the sidequest, you HAVE to finish it. I had to load the rom up in the original Japanese and finish the quest before switching back, and I wound up making the last letter of the characters name a blank space.
Then, to add insult to injury, after I beat the game and got the victory lap portion of the game, the SECOND NPC that I talked to put me in an infinite text loop and just said "Thank you for saving us descendants of Roto!"
Would strongly recommend avoiding the SNES translations.

I still haven't finished the main Adventure map on Hyrule Warriors, let alone the DLC shit.
DQH you can respec your skill points for a fee whenever you want. That really helps when you need more Tension or dodge roll invincibility for the fight againstPsaro the fucking cheating over powered cunt. One hit kills are dog shit.

Honestly, I might pick it up just for the portability. I also heard that they fixed the skill system up so you don't have to focus on "builds" and will be able to max out everything if you grind hard enough.
