Fun is always an important factor, but if I've learned anything from my delving into arbitrary conceptualizations and the collection of events into the formation of the mental purview of a person,
a game is most important if it has an impact on the person. A prime, albeit depressing example is Undertale. I hated that game and the way people continue flinging shit at each other over it. But the game itself was an experience, and a good one no less, despite the awful gameplay, story, and duration. In my eyes, it's a must-play for anyone who sees the world through two eyes, rather than through a pair of eyes, to refer to something ancient.

You know what's funny? The Adult Swim radio station was one of the few things I actually liked, so that just tells me they not only departed from what made the series great, they also completely missed their intended mark.
SR5 will be pretty fucking insane. I heard that are going to have penis guns. So feminazis, SJWs, and ISIS will be enemies of the game. Feminazis will be the endgame boss who is trying to ruin the whole world.

Precisely this. In the cake that is the first two Saints Row games, the action is the icing and the humor is the sprinkles. For three and beyond, they said fuck the batter and just made a "cake" with nothing but icing and spinkles.
